Last Tuesday saw the launch party for the second issue of Rankin's new bi-annual magazine "Hunger" and with it a website redesign. As in the first issue, I collaborated with the photographer on a series of portraits — this time focusing on couture designers. Sticking with the theme of couture, I took a more simple, classic approach to the portraits this time round as opposed to the abstract imagery previously in issue 01.
Above is my portrait of the one and only Sir Paul Smith in it's original DPS layout. I did 7 portraits and a type treatment in all which you can get your mitts on, along with a wealth of content covering film, music and fashion, in the latest issue.
