MUST SEE | THE SECRET HISTORY OF OUR STREETS

I guess like most people my experience of London can be more often than not quite anonymous. Rarely will I walk through a particular part of town and wonder, of all the people I can see, how many are locals, whether they have a relationship to the area or whether they're all just trying to get somewhere else. Since watching BBC2's "Secret History of Our Streets" this has totally changed — if you are in any way remotely interested in London or history it is a must watch. A fascinating and personal insight into six archetypal streets of this city, it'll make you look at the place with fresh eyes.

MUST SEE | RUN BOY RUN

Just saw this over at Boooooom and had to repost! It's very rare that a music video keeps my attention for more than 30 seconds but this piece from director Yoann Lemoine is just incredible.

MUST SEE | THE BRIDGE | BBC4

Whilst I realise I was pretty late to the game (after all the series finished last Friday) I spent a considerable portion of my weekend watching the entire series of Scandinavian crime-drama "The Bridge" back to back. Totally engrossing, beautifully filmed, laugh out loud funny in places, a master of tension, atmospherically scored and as addictive a programme as I've come across in a LONG time. If you haven't already, I thoroughly recommend you watch all 10 episodes whilst they're still on iPlayer.

Whether it was the success of the Swedish original adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", etc or "The Killing" that has led to the BBC bringing this gem to the UK — one thing I do know is that I want more!
